Our Story
Pendant Music Publishing was founded by Mike Awad, a lifelong music enthusiast and advocate for independent artists. After years immersed in the evolving music landscape. Mike saw a gap: indie musicians were making incredible, authentic music, but often lacked the infrastructure to protect their rights and grow sustainably.
Out of that vision, Pendant was born. More than just a publishing company, Pendant is a creative partner—committed to helping independent songwriters and artists navigate the complex world of music rights, royalties, and sync licensing without giving up ownership or creative control.
From living room demos to prime-time TV syncs, Pendant exists to champion real artists making real music. We believe in building careers, not just catalogs, and our mission is simple: empower musicians to get heard, get paid, and stay independent.

LOUD HOUND is the indie music project of Tommy Florio, known for blending sun-soaked guitars, dreamy synth textures, and emotionally honest songwriting into a sound that's both cinematic and raw. With a cult following on the internet and a growing presence in the sync world, LOUD HOUND has landed four major television placements—Netflix's Locke & Key, Freeform's Good Trouble, The CW's Nancy Drew, and CBS’s So Help Me Todd—all from his standout album, It’s Okay to Be Lonely, Part I. His music has also been featured in an Adidas Skateboarding campaign, with a T-Mobile commercial placement on the horizon. Known for his electric and emotionally charged live shows, LOUD HOUND has sold out venues across Philadelphia and New York City, solidifying his place as one of the East Coast's most exciting independent voices.
